ppcon: In general, the answer to your question is yes - you can use the same order type for MTS and MTO. As long as the MTO material has a work scheduling view and accounting view maintained in the plant, the costing part can also be taken care. Settlement however needs to be defined with a different rule for MTO.Krishnan: MRP groups have nothing to do with the question asked here. MRP group can specify a default strategy group and production order type which can be overridden at material master and order level respectively. But the question is not on using MRP groups, which are no longer popular anyway. 查看原帖>>
