首先,too +adj. to do sth是固定搭配,意思是太……以至于不能做某事
too有种过了的意思,所以你就不能做你想做的了,我是这样理解的.另外这里的to do sth 引导的是动词不定式,后面跟原形.

其实英语学习的话你可以先记些固定搭配,比如这个too……to……是非常常见的,然后一些题目做多了就会有语感的,你以后看着就会觉得这个very放在这里怎么都不通的.（这也是我为什么解释不清very的用法,羞……）虽然英语的语序之类的跟汉语不太一样,但直译还是有一定的适用范围的,学到后面你会发现英语的语序还是很用规律的,而且里面的词组什么的和汉语也是有共通点的,你本来不会的东西先试着翻成汉语可能就知道哪里不妥了.
