这句话杨鹏的解释第一句就是：前面的分句省略了Although.but之后的分句的结构较为复杂……

对于这两句话,我存在同一个问题,即,我认为这里面并没有省略although或者but,这两个表示转折的词不能同时出现在一句话里,否则才是错误的.我一直是这样认为的,但也没专门去求证,所以看到杨鹏的解释,很惊讶.是我错了还是他错了?
他这么解释也是对的,这里真的有省略吗?省略了什么?GRE长句当然不能深究语法,但这个,我一直以为是常识来着,所以才怀疑是不是自己一直都记错了.
