请问,其中的directed 和develop分别作什么成分?develop前面不应该加连词吗?一个句子必须要用连词才可以啊?
为什么用directed，它是表示过去的意思吗？

develop和前面的provide并列,都作为should do用法中的do,它们的连词就是but also
而directed by the thought of lifelong educaton,作为插入语,用来修饰它后面的那句话,这种用法的标志就是插入语被两个逗号隔开了.其实把插入语拿掉,就能清楚地看到句子的结构了.
一个句子没有连词也可以的。如：我喜欢你。就没有连词。这两个次都是动词，应该是谓语。
